Do they usually eat the shell in addition to the egg? I'm just wondering if I will always know that they are eating eggs by finding a shell left behind. I haven't found any evidence of egg eating since Wednesday.

Usually they eat the eggs because they need extra calcium in the first place, so yes, the

shells are normally eaten. [IMG] However if you have an eggeater, they somtimes start breaking

the eggs just for the insides.
