Yesterday I adopted 7 muscovy hens and 2 drakes. they were previously seperated because the owner was sick of babies so I am wondering how long until thir eggs are fertile? I already got 3 eggs this morning but i wanna make sure to toss them until they're fertile, i dont want them sitting on rotten eggs......
One of the hens was brooding a nest when we got her and they were all bad, one egg exploded and apparently did so so hard that it cut her belly open!!
Thankfully it was just a flesh wound and stopped bleeding pretty quickly and she's back in with the others already.
