question about lyon tx-6 manual turner

hi,

I bought a lyon tx-6. used. no manual.

I thought it looked like I just manually swivelled the domed top around to turn the eggs but they are just being scooted not turned. it has the metal egg separator thingey in the bottom that holds 18 chicken eggs.

do I not have the dome on right or in the right position? thank you! (don't want to ruin hinkjcs eggs before they even get started

the spokes are in one of the holes in the plastic thing. does it matter which hole it is in? and should the black knobs be tightened or loosened. (anyone have a link to a manual online, lol, I can 't find one).
