My one duck Tulip who is rather large often sleeps with her legs out or out like this but all the way stretched out. She can walk but often prefers to lay down and is not as active as the other smaller duck. What do ya'll think?

Ok, just a little concerned because she often does the splits in the tub if I don't have the runner down or does splits on the hardwood while the other does not.

Its a sign of contentment. Relaxed and comfortable, not too warm or cold and with a full belly.... Nope nothing to worry about there..you have two very happy little ones.

Ducks ( and all poultry ) will slide a little on smooth surfaces, but if she walks with one leg out while in the brooder on shavings it might be something to keep your eye on closely over the next few days to make sure its not getting worse.

Thank you all for quelling my worries. She doesn't walk with one out, just a little more in a Y shape than the other. Make sense? Like she has a wider stance.
