Just was wondering how old a silkie male is before he starts crowing? Mine just recently started crowing and he still seems so little. We got him in August and we are not sure how old he was when we got him. We also bought some (silkie) hens along with him which is alot of the reason why I am wondering about how old my roo is it would give me a idea when my girls should start laying. I wasnt sure if they started crowing earlier than standard chickens or not.
