Question about the coloring of blue Ameraucanas

I have a few Blue ameraucanas and some are lighter blue and some are darker. I am using this pic of them eating so that you may se the difference, there is a splash in there too. Which color is more desierable or is it my choice? I was thinking one of the lighter ones that has very even coloring as my main roo. all of them have beards and muffs and they all seem about the same in size.

Oh, hmmmmmm....I think the dark is more desirable in blue, but I'm not sure....Sorry!

I prefer the darker ones because they have better lacing on the feathers.

If you cross your splash bird with black then you will get nice dark blue with good lacing. Don't know why, it just works that way.
