Question for those using the heat shrink bags.

    I bought a vacuum sealer years ago and hated the thing. I usually use plastic double bagged with air squeezed out and/or freezer paper, but my freezing of stuff isn't very long term, especially with a couple DP birds here and there. My order of CX is almost ready for processing. With the sheer volume of of birds and Christmas coming up (thinking nice presentation for some gifts) I've been looking at the heat shrink bags.

    I was thinking of an assortment of sizes, heaviest volume on the broilers size for parts and smaller whole birds and a few of each of the larger bags and a small thing of labels for sure.

    My only real hold-up at this point is the bag sealers. I already have a pair of J-clip pliers and plenty of J-clips. Does anyone know if I can use them instead of buying hog ring stuff?
