Question of the Day - Friday, November 7th, 2025

I walk into poles all the time, one time at rugby practise I was leaving and crashed into a pole and fell over. One timme at him I was talking over my shoulder while walking into the room and hit the part where the door latches. Not a door but poles and doorframes yes

I hit myself in the shin with a deflected sledgehammer blow, while standing on a ladder driving fence posts for the chicken run.

Do not recommend.
Years ago, when we were knocking down the plaster drywall upstairs, I hit the sledgehammer into the drywall and whacked a stud. They were not evenly spaced so I wasn't expecting it to be there. The sledge hammer flew back and hit my face. Thank God I had safety glasses on. I got a nice black eye and for awhile, strangers thought my husband hit me

Actually, now that I remember better, it was a pick axe, not a sledgehammer.
Still do not recommend

Doors, cabinet doors, revolving doors, Bilco doors, car doors and probably some other type of door. Drew blood on some and surprised myself at how well I speak "French".
