Question of the Day - Thursday, September 4th, 2025

It's more uncomfortable being cold. It's easy to cool down in a hot environment, but cold is near impossible to mitigate.
As someone who lives somewhere that regularly gets 100 temps for much of the year, I wholeheartedly disagree. I can just throw on a jacket if cold but if it's hot out, you're just stuck. Even with the air on full blast it's still hot

This. You can't even jump in a cold shower, because "cold" is still warmer than body temp.

As someone originally from an area hot enough to make a Canadian burst into flames, I corrected your post.

Try biking in 100 temps with 100% humidity and a heat index of 112 and report back to me. Biking in summer makes me feel like I'm dying. Biking in freezing temps leaves me energized and in a good mood

Even if I am just sitting at home I'm miserable. No amount of taking stuff off helps in that kind of heat, you are simply hot and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it but suffer
