You've lived here. You sure?
I hate winter. Going outside in a shirt and shorts is so much better than having to spend 10 mins to bundle up and start your car. Then the snot freezes in your nose when you step outside. I've never lived in AZ, only Ohio

Oh but you have family here? Is that it? For some reason I thought you'd spent some time here. Maybe it was someone else.

I'm one of the crazies who will go outside in snow in shorts and crocs and be happy as a clam

Oooh, I hate the heat!! The forecast here (TX) is always the same: high of 95 and sunny. For WEEKS! It’s Fall, for goodness sake!! It should be in the 60’s, with a cool breeze.
And it won’t get cold til like November. Give me 20 degrees and snowing by the end of October!!!

Cold is very painful for me. All my joints hurt. Worst is that my hands cramp into painful claws like a crab's. I can barely stand and hobbling to the bathroom is a challenge, reminding me of the famous character, "Wllie Makeit," in a book illustrated by Betty Dont. I don't know whether to blame all this on my fibromyalgia or my arthritis, I just know my body is a barometer of sorts, giving me a weather report as soon as I open my eyes. I compensate by surrounding myself with heated electric throws, blankets and mattress pads which I use extensively even if it's 100° outside - for I know the house will be a frosty 73° at all times.
