I've been to dozens of weddings, have a large family. Was in quite a lot also. The best was mine and my husband's

Attended 7 wedding in my life to date including 1 of my own wedding

Will be more in the future as I have many adult nieces and nephews.

I was a bridesmaid in my 20 to my best friend' wedding. I was the only bridesmaid because my best friend was young and did not have much money.

The best man was busy chatting me up throughout the wedding, his girlfriend broke up with him the day before. He asked for my phone number, and home address because he said he wanted to drop by sometime. I told him that I am of marrying age, don't come as my mother will ask him a million question for suitability of a possible marriage.

He did not believe me, he turned up and the whole short time he was sitting there, my mom asked a million questions and he did all the answering. He never turn up at my house again.

My brother's was memorable because he fainted. The minister said, "And she shall be his wife." Bob's eyes got big and round, he whispered, "Wife?" and fell forward. He sat down for the rest of the ceremony.

That should have been a sign that that marriage was not a good idea.

Big family, many weddings, a lot that I do not remember. Not sure how many.
One of the last ones I went to, quite a few of us ended up sitting out in the foyer because the music was much too loud.

I've been to 3. The first I was 8 months pregnant, and there was so much standing and kneeling and sitting and standing.... And the music was so loud. We also had to leave after the ceremony and come back 4 hours later for the reception.
