question on blu-kote

How many applications does it normally take to heal a bird that has a bare spot on the neck from other chickens peckin at her?

mine take a few days... like a week or so to completely heal where pecking types will leave it alone...

Keep he separate until the feathers start to come back in...I only put the blukote on again if it wears off...

I kept my hen with her other hens. Her skin was not broken, but her feathers had been pulled from one spot. The feathers aren't going to dome back til she molts. I spray her about once a week to keep her purple enough that they don't bother her. (They should call it Purple Kote.)
