I have 26 EE's and most I have taken pics of you all feel are pullets.

They are now 9 wks old. I have one that is a beautiful blue. The body is light and the head is dark. Well I noticed this past week that his/her tail feathers are more pointed at the tips. They are also starting to curl at the tips. The others tail feathers are straight and rounded at the tips. Could this be an indicator that my blue EE is a roo? I have my fingers crossed cause if he/she is a roo, he'll be beautiful!

charge the battery, cuz I wanna see this beautiful sounding bird!!!

w.o. seeing a pic, it is hard to tell... however, look at the feathers at the BASE of the tail ( back of the back of the bird) but not the tail feathers--- called 'saddle' feathers.... if they are pointed tips=roo... rounded=hen

hopefully you can load a pic so we can see and that would be most helpful.

I have one EE hen that has the most rooster-ish tail feathers, almost more roo-ish than the actual rooster

, but she is definitely a hen.

Without pictures, we really couldn't give you an accurate answer.
