I have some babies were born beginning of August. They have feathers on top of their heads like cockatoos??????[IMG] I am curious could their be silkie in the line somewhere, or what? The mother is a banty. All black no weird feathers on her head. Father is a normal looking rooster.

Could be any feather headed bird. If it has darker skin or black legs, I would say silkie. If it has clean legs, I would say polish. If it has feathers on legs with light skin I'd venture to guess sultan.

Mom is Cochin Bantam, her legs and feet are covered with feathers. The leg color is light yellow.

The rooster is a mutt for sure, as for the mix, he looks like a good barnyard mix. A little EE, a little cochin, a little silkie maybe...
