Do turtles eat ducks/ducklings? Someone just comment on my pic on fb and said her grandpa tried to have ducks in his pond but the turtles got them.

Snapping turtles will eat ducklings. They are also know for ripping off feed from adult ducks. Larger turtles will actually drown ducks and eat them. So yes they are an issue.

Yes, snappers seem to be a problem for ducklings. [IMG]

Not just snapping turtles, I've seen regular pond turtles (I forgot what breed they were, but they're common) get ducklings. Also, bass and some other fish will get ducklings, too.
