Do female emus lay eggs even tho not bred, like a chicken?
I do believe you need a male.... but I could be wrong, but I do believe I've not herd of a female laying w/o one... thou I'm sure their have been rare occasions.
I want one!
Thanks! I googled it (should of thought of that first) "99% of time, female will not lay w/o being actively bred by male". I have 2 females and 1 male but cannot keep them together because the females fight. (they were all given to me) I was hoping for infertile eggs to blow out. If I ever get any fertile eggs not sure I could blow them out knowing they could produce cute little babies one day
