I have a few too many runner ducks-are they worth eating? If so, what age is best?

I have two male Pekins who look really tasty-9 weeks old now, and I am still on the fence about keeping them. How late can I still process them and have them be good? (I read the ideal time is 7 weeks, and we already passed that)

Started to think there was a breed of something I have never heard about before.

Runners aren't really worth eating. There wouldn't be much meat at all. I had some Khaki Campbells done up and it really wasn't worth it. See if you can sell them, lots of people like buying them.

Ya, the title cracked me up, too. I was about to go to bed, but it caught my eye and I had to see what it was all about. [IMG] [IMG]

**I'm not poking fun at OP, just at the typo. **

Oh me too. I thought the typo was cute.

Eat the pekins at 12 weeks! Less pin feathers and juicy!

Quote:LOL, you can go back and edit your OP and redo the title, if you want, but it's pretty cute the way it is! [IMG]
