Questions About Sex Links (bantams)?

I often wonder about black sex links. I have barred rock bantams. Love the bantams. If you took a RIR bantam Roo and Barred rock Bantams hens. Would you have Black sex link bantams? I'm not going in the breeding bussiness. I was just wondering if anybody has done this. Why would they not. I like the bantams but I like the eggs too. ( newbie here showing his newbiess)

Yes, if you have any barred colored hen, bantam or standard, on any nonbarred, non dominant white roo, you will get sexlinks. However they may not be as productive as layers being bantams.

Do you have any pics of you BR bantams ? I'd lonve to see them. I'm hoping to ge to get some eggs soon.

I love my BRB . started laying Feb 1st. They have 97 eggs in 25 days.

Oh yeah I've saw those pics before when you were trying to figure out what your hen that you though was a BBR OEG, Did you look up the differences between BBR and Brown Red ? You can even breed Nigel with those BR hens to get sexlinks if you want.
