Questions from a Pekin newcomer

I've been raising chickens for a few years , but recently got 2 Peking and 2 Mallard chicks. The Pekings are about 6 wks old now and look full grown! They are getting along fine with the chickens (they have their own food source and pool). Put when do you tell the difference in the hens and drakes, and when do they start laying? How often do they lay eggs? Thank you ducky friends!

The hens will have a loud quack while the drakes will have a raspy voice. The drakes will also develop a curl at the end of their tail.

My ducks have started laying as early as 5 months but usually start around the 6 month mark.

Mine usually lay daily.
