Quick Update on Dog Bite/Accident

Just wanted to give everyone a quick update on the situation...

My little brother talked to the daughter of the owner of the dog we hit on saturday. I believe he spoke with her yesterday..

I guess they put Izzy down because of internal bleeding they couldnt fix (she said artery damage?), but she told him that they already got another dog. and she didnt seem so sad. she didn't say anything about her dad.

She is only about 12 so a new dog is probably the best thing for her, i just hope they keep it in the yard this time and it's one that's not as high strung as the others.

She also said the male was hit by a car just up the road too, not sure when that happened.

I just hope its different with the new puppy/dog.

I hope its different with the new dog/puppy as well, hopefully its not a case like with some people down the road. They never seem to learn, their dogs get hit and killed all the time and they just keep getting new ones. its so sad.

Sounds like my neighbors...dogs are replaceable..they have 4 right now. ALL eat up with red mange, and all wandering the neighborhood

I know negligent and abusive pet owners is no laughing matter and we do what we can to help. Different options sometimes work better in some circumstances than others, but it's never easy and it's never a pleasant situation.
