Looking for suggestions on a "quiet" meat breed to fill one side of my coop. Suggestions?

I never noticed that the Cronish Broiler crosses were ever noisy.

Maybe the problem back then was inadequate shelter, a hectic environment, all cockerels, pigs, kids, horses, all my redneck drinking buddies, and on and on and on.

Yeah...Cornish crosses are some of the best feed converters. They are bred for meat...and to grow...FAST. 8 weeks is usually the time the birds are processed.

Not noisy either. Too busy stuffing their faces for noise! LOL
