Thank you all for your time, today at 8:30 my americanna new born died.
Sorry, if it is losing alot of blood like you said then there is not much you can do. If it is yellow it is the yolk sack whick the chick is supposed to absorb. This is its nutricion for when it is first born. You can try wrapping it in a moist paper towel, but if opening the bator is gonna compromise your hatch I would just leave it alone.
IT WAS HATCHED UNDER A HEN AND WE TOOK IT IN
Others have had them hatch like that and they eventually just absorb the yolk .... leave it in there and let nature take it's course... it may take hours.... but he needs the moisture so dont open it.
OK thanks SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much, that is very relieving and its my 1rst americauna chick so I DO NOT want to lose it...! Also is there anything else that I can do?
Anyone? Still somewhat freakin out here!!!
dip it in flour and put it back in the brooder, it has to survive by itself.. keep the other chicks away from it as well.

What does the flour do, and will it dry the yolk?
Hey...I'm so sorry to hear about your chick. That's a horrible thing to have to go through. A very helpless feeling. Are you waiting for more to hatch?
