    Hi,

My R.I.R Rooster shakes his head like Stevie Wonder the singer.

He is about one year old. He has done this since he was hatched.

Seems healthy, poo normal, but is doing it more often lately.

Has anyone seen this before? Would like to hear from anyone

    that has seen this.

    Thanks Julie

Pretty normal behavior. Could be his wattles itch, LOL.

If it's a slow sorta looking up and swaying his head in circles or side to side, it might be something else though. I've always called it stargazing, (Not sure what it's really called) and I personally think it's caused by inbreeding to much. I've noticed it in some of our rare breeds, and every time I've ever tried using a rooster like that for breeding some of it's chicks had the same "Problem". I now cull any that I see doing it and so far haven't had it in any of the new chicks.
I'm no expert, but I'm sure many on here are and will correct me if I'm wrong.

You may well have a very special bird. He could be a prodigy-breed. Get him a small piano- who knows, you may be able to retire!
