rabbit feeder for chicks?

Hi all,

I have a rabbit hutch that I am re purposing for my new chicks. It has wall mounted rabbit feeders like this:

granted mine are 15+ years old and a little rusty, but they should be ok right?

I have a small feeder just like this and I use it for the crushed oyster shell for my girls. They walk right over and eat from it no problem. I have a bigger feeder for my layer pellets but the small rabbit feeder would be perfect for grit or oyster shell.

We use one in one of our breeding pens and have no problems with it at all.

I used this type of feeder in the Chicken Hutch from TSC which I used as a brooder. Worked great.
