our rabbits had a litter about three weeks ago and the babies are getting out of the nest more and more when do we take the nest away

When it's cold, I leave the nest box in (on it's side so the babies can easily get in and out) for the first month or so. In the summer it comes out by 3 or 4 weeks.

I leave mine for at least three or more weeks. However, I clean them out at two weeks. I have found that by this time the ammonia smell is getting pretty strong. They enjoy the fresh bedding!
