Raccoons got into our coop a few nights ago and killed our pullets and damaged the beak of one of our older hens (Beatrice, an australorp). Her comb is clearly damaged, but more significantly, her beak also looks damaged; broken on top and maybe split on the bottom. It's hard to tell as she won't let us get close to her. She can drink water (not real effectively), but doesn't seem to be able to eat -- she pecks at things, especially when we put out treats, but seems to "miss" and doesn't seem to be able to eat anything. We even put out chick mash and she just looks at it. Is there anything we can do to help her out? Is her beak likely to get better?

    Thanks.
