raccoon proof

[Duck mommy 2019]

we are building nighttime coops for our ducks who are being petsit so they do not need to be kept with the chickens (we have drakes and they have chicken hens) so i was wondering if this latch would be raccoon proof?

if it’s not what other latch can we get from home depot? cheap because these are only temporary coops until we move

and also we were thinking of just doing wood boxes so their coops. would that work?

A fixed staple hasp locked with a round eye or square swivel snap works for mine. A master lock on the hasp if your hard core serious but then you'd have to have a key.
