Raising a ducking alone??

Ok so my little cousin desperately wants a duckling of his own so I’m probably getting him a buff duckling that I found on Craigslist. She’s two days old and still needs to be kept inside under a heat lamp and I’m planning on picking her up tomorrow morning (I may end up getting her if the woman decides she wants her). I was wondering if she would be ok in the brooder alone or if I should bring my 7 week old inside to keep her company or try and get another duckling as well as her. Would a mirror and a couple stuffed animals be enough to keep her company if I spent lots of time with her and brought her outside to visit the others often? Any advice would be amazing

Is your little cousin old enough to have a fragile 2 day old duckling? I think any duckling would be better off with a living with a living duckling than a stuffed Animal

Hello..Get another Duckling because they need that stimulation and contact from another Buddy...

Yes he’s still young but is incredibly good with them and will never be unattended. I’ll try to get another baby if I can
