Raising chickens in Porter, TX

Hi everyone! I'm new here, but I have searched and can't seem to find the information I'm looking for. I'm hoping someone can help me out. is it legal to raise chickens in Porter, TX? What Laws are in place there regarding chickens? I'm moving there from out of state in a couple of weeks and would like to know. I can't seem to find any information on it, so I apologize if I've just missed it somewhere. Thanks for your help.

Porter is an unincorporated area in Montgomery County. I couldn't find the answer either, but I did find a fellow Backyard chicken member (patchofheaven) who resides in Montgomery County, maybe he/she can help answer this for you. Good luck
