Raising ducklings with mom and dad ducks

I have a Peking and a cynuaqq female duck not sure if that is how it is spelled but she has hatched 5 ducklings we had to take the male out of her pen because he was going after babies. How long do we need to keep him apart?

Until the ducklings are close to adult sized... you want to make sure he can't hurt them easily... keep him separate but able to see them so he'll get used to them and it will be easier to reintroduce him...
