    I want to make a thread about my Easter Egger chicks so that I can keep track of the different color varieties and how they grow! We purchased five from South Louisiana Seed Co. in Houma, LA on Sept. 29 when they were 3 days old.

    3 weeks old and I noticed a huge difference in their combs today.

    BEAR - comb is really wide

    OWL - pullet

    Pretty sure PHOEBE is a roo. When you spread the feathers around the comb, you can see 3 rows. Her comb is the most noticeably red among the others.

    PHOEBE - possible roo. 3-row pea comb, larger than the others, but also feathering faster than tho others (which I know males usually feather slower)

    Very sad to say that we lost our little Monica. She followed the ducks into their pool and I didn't find her in time. :( She was my favorite... full of spunk.

    @gapey
    SUPER cute!!! I would love to have a light one like your Ali! It's exciting seeing how much they change.

    Don't know how you get them to stay still... I have to hold mine! Lol
