I have a 1 year old trio of mandarins. I got them when they were around 5 months old. They are flighty birds and not very friendly.

You shouldn't have to, unless one just hatched, then it would be lonely and seeking a companion.

i have 2 eggs and they both internaly pipped so they should hatch close together . But i have tried toraise wood ducks and they end up dying from stress so i figured if i got a domestic duckling to show them how to eat and such it would help them out
