raising orphaned turkeys

    well my dad [​IMG] found 2 poults baby turkeys wile cutting hay he said one went in da chopper [​IMG] well then half hour later we found the one that was in da chopper its alive and well were treating them like baby chicks which we just bought more r i r chicks but there 3x biggers and attcins we dont have a brooder:idunno

    Turkey poults can be raised the same as chicken poults, but in my experience they are more fragile and they also love grass to eat! I cut clover and lawn grass with a scissors into little bits in their brooder and they snarf it all down in a second. They also get regular chick feed and grit.
