Hi ALL! Got 100 Silver Cross Cornish cockerels from Hoffman Hatchery. Only lost one in shipping, and the rest are doing great. Wondering if anyone else has raised these for meat? I've raised Cornish cross before, butchered at 8 weeks. They were starting to have trouble moving around at that point. These guys seem much healthier, more alert! Growing very fast, too! I think their cross may be with Barred Rock, as they have bl/wh feathering like the Barred Rocks I have. Love 'em so far, anyone else raise these? THANKS!
