Raleigh NC HOA trying to change by law

I am working with my HOA to allow backyard chickens. They are open to the idea and would like some local HOA that currently allow this. Anyone in the Raleigh area that can help with this?

I am curious as to which area you are in. I have not approached my HOA and don't want to recreate the wheel if it is the same subdivision.
I live off of Victory Church Rd.
