My Rhode Island Chickens have been laying eggs for 6 months. Today one of my girls lay a random pullet egg. Is this normal?

Do you mean a small egg? It’s normal - nothing to worry about. It’s probably just a fairy or a “fart” egg.

The hen's internal egg making factory is pretty complicated, for a perfect egg she has to put everything together just right. What that sounds like is that one hen had an "oops". The way I look at it we are all entitled to an occasional oops. If it were an everyday thing I'd say you have an issue. But a rare occurrence is nothing to worry about.
