Hello! I thought it would be fun to buy a rare breed assortment and guess the breeds… little did I know that it would drive me absolutely insane and chickens are so hard to ID compared to other species! So if you’d like to help fellow chicken lady out, my sanity would appreciate it
for fun I’ll include their names!
Bernice - she is the only one I’m sure of, being a black copper maran and I just absolutely adore her
Tina, Francesca, Helga - I am between Crested Cream Legbar and/or Olive Egger on these 3. Tina, specifically I thought is a roo, but the hatchery is saying no. All were dark brown chipmunk colored chicks. All crested, all clean legs, Tina has a big comb. Franny is the smallest of the 3.
Felicia - this one omg, she is tufted, muffed and bearded with feathered feet, she looks like a Golden Cuckoo Maran… is that even possible?
she was a typical Maran colored black chick.
Karen - the best for last. She is muffed and bearded, clean legs. I am thinking Green Queen, Easter Egger or possibly and Ameraucana?

And she is a for sure pullet because roosters of this breed have a different pattern and smaller crests!
