Rasing chick alone.

only 1 of my chicks out of 3 survived, is it possible to raise it alone? I can't buy any, this year has been bad and the breeders don't have many chicks, thanks!

yeah, im gonna buy some pullets so ill see if they have a chick

Of course you can, but it will be a little lonely until it's ready to join the adults. You can use a mirror or small stuffed animal to simulate a friend for it, so it has some form of companionship, and ideally it would benefit from being integrated earlier with the flock/given exposure to the flock early on, so it can learn how to be a chicken from them.
