Rats!

Any one out there have problems with rats? Two times in the last few months something has taken an egg out of the nesting box, down the ramp, and eaten it in the pen. My coop is always locked up at night, so it happened after I let them out in the morning. I have a trap set every night and have killed a few, but now seems that the rats are on to the trap and are not going near it even when I move it around. My Seram hen is setting and I really worry that something might bother her when i'm not looking!
