I'm hatching for the first time.

Is it ok to leave lid off incubator while candling or replace lid each time you take egg out?
What's the earliest day you can candle?

Also worried about humidity. What should it be for guinea eggs?

Oh sooooo many questions. I read the incubating and hatching section and it makes me more nervous. So many things to go wrong. [IMG]

Don't know about guinea eggs, but I candle on day 6, 14 and 18 or so.
