Here are a few of our RIR's. They are just getting back into laying, got 6 eggs from them today so far...I have a few late layers in the group, so still could get an egg or 2 yet tonight. This is not the best photo, but you can see a few of them. I need to go out and take some more recent photos. We are really proud of our RIR's.

I have one RIR hen that is broody right now too, she is so sweet. I have to pick her up to get the eggs and put her back...she just looks at me...never moves a muscle, never pecks me...my little bantam cochins are alot nastier to me when I steal thier eggs...my sweet RIR makes me feel guilty!

This one of three RIR's I have had since 5/1/10. She always tries to peck my wife and my wife swears she curses her under her chicken breath. Her name is Bossy McFlossy!
