Record hatch rate for Turkey eggs for me already :-) one to go!

I am doing the happy dance....
5 turkey eggs on lockdown.... all 5 (even 2 I was sure were duds!) showed internal pipping on lockdown day...
4 hatched so far #5 is pipped and peeping.....
once this hatch is over I am adjusting my incubator temps... they are a little low... all my hatches are running 1-2 days late...

Last hatch..... 12 eggs on lockdown... got me 4 babies
Hatch before... 10 eggs... 2 babies.

I think I am working out the kinks... but what I am doing much different I dont know...

Don't tiddle with the fiddle after a hatch that produce a 100% hatch rate. A little late is better than none at all. Let things stand as they are for a few more hatches. I have 15 bators going at for 7 months of the year in schools around the area. 1 of them is late every time. Unknown reason, yet its hatch rate is one of the best.
