Recycling shreaded paper

    Is it safe to use shredded paper from my office in my nesting boxes? Does it make a difference if I use my regular paper from my office shredder or shredded news paper? My chickens and I thank you! [​IMG]

    Yes, just don't use too much of it cuz it doesn't scrunch down real well. I use in my composters when I clean out the coops.

    Just keep stacking it and it will break down in to black gold

    I had a source briefly last year. They eat it, like everything else. Worry about staples, plastic, weird inks. Worked better as a mulch under the tomato plants. Great compost. Wets too much for bedding.
