I think my chicken may be sick. We have had her a couple years and she was already laying not really sure how old she is. Her comb is pale and laying over and she looks like she has diharria. She is still eating and drinking.

Welcome to BYC. Inspect her closely for lice/mites especially around the vent area. Worm her.

Hello there and welcome to BYC! [IMG]

I am so sorry about your bird. I agree with Dawg here. She either needs to be wormed, has mites, or she is egg bound. Do an internal exam with a latex glove and some vaseline or KY Jelly on the index finger. Gently insert your finger into the vent and if she has stuck egg, it will be right there. If there is no egg, I would get her wormed as soon as possible. Safeguard Liguid Goat wormer is a good wormer to use on her. Check her over for mites at the vent, under the wings and behind the neck.

You will still want to post this in our emergency section for more help if she has one of these issues. I hope you can get her back to good health soon.
