Red combs mean laying soon?

Some of my hens are about 4.5 months old now and are starting to redden on their comb and wattles. Does this mean they will start laying soon?

Yay!!! My adult duck hens are trying to be broody so my egg counts have decreased drastically. I need my chicken hens to start laying soon!
