Red Dorking chicks... can you sex them by coloring? (updated pic)

Can you sex them at birth like the Silver Greys? I only have one so far, and I think it's a pullet, but I wasn't sure if I could tell that way.

Does anyone have any chick photos that they can share so I can tell what it is?

OK... here's one that shows the chipmunk striping...

Any guesses? Without a second one to compare it to, or pictures, I can't tell if it's a girl or a boy. I'm hoping, if I only get one, to get a girl.

Hi,

In your photo, the one nearest the camera looks like a girl, the one behind looks like a boy.

Here are some photo's to compare it with:

The boys have light colouring around the head with a tinge of pink on the larger comb area with a distinct dot at the side of the eye as in photo below:

and the girls have darker heads and a stripe, just as if they have black eye liner on just like your photo, you can just about see it in this photo with the chick nearest to the camera.

And this photo is just to show off my older guys, 2 boys and 1 girl, can you guess which is which?

That chick turned into a beautiful rooster.

BTW... the Mille Fleur d'Uccle behind him turned out to be a girl...
