does anyone know where to acquire red jungle fowl?
Hello and welcome to BYC. I'm sorry, I can't give you any advice on that. Maybe trying searching for the breed in question, using the search box.

Hi and I am glad you joined us! Cackle Hatchery does carry Red Jungle Fowl chicks, but I don't they are in stock. Here is the link:
I think they will be available to order around December 12th, (if I'm not mistaken!)
I hope you find what your looking for, best wishes!
Welcome to BYC! It's great to have you.
True Red Junglefowl are nearly extinct and finding a breeder is very difficult. Most pairs run a few thousand dollars each. Every "Junglefowl" I've ever seen has been a simple gamefowl in actuality.
You might check the Pheasants and Partridge section of this forum. Real Junglefowl are far more like most pheasant species in care and such aspects, so you may find a breeder there.
Queen Misha has given you very good advice, so I will just say Hope you enjoy Backyard chickens as much as we do.
Thanks for joining us, good luck finding the birds you want!

I hope you enjoy BYC; not only is it overflowing with lots of useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun. Unlike non chicken loving friends, family and colleagues, BYC’ers never tire of stories or pictures about chickens, turkeys, duck, quail, Peas and pretty much any other feathered and non feathered friends
