red mites Feather loss

Hi, My chickens have red mites, they are losing feathers in patches, how do I cure them? i am from new zealand

Mites are definitely treatable.

Feather loss is not necessarily from red mites.......have you seen the red mites?
I do not recommend treating for something that has not been positively identified.

Telling us more about your flock(numbers, ages, genders) and coop(size and pics),
and where you are located (for climate and options) can help a great deal in solving problems.
