Hi, I know this is probably a stupid thing to ask but I have some chicks and I was told the hens were red sex links and I hatched the eggs. Only 2 came out of the batch and I was wondering if someone could sex them or confirm they're red sex link. They're about 3 weeks.

The hens that laid the eggs were red sex links or the eggs were supposed to be red sex links? Because if the hens were red sex links that's not a real breed and not something that passes down and what you hatched would just be mixed breeds. From the pictures I would say this is the case.

If the mothers were sex link then sex linking doesn't apply to the chicks. It's a one time thing. You'll have to wait until they feather in all the way. About 5-6 weeks of age. Post new pictures then.
