Refinishing a deck, any experts?

I am borrowing a pressure washer to refinish my 2 decks. How long should I wait from finishing the washing to applying new stain? I had planned to wash tomorrow and stain Friday, is that too son? Think it will dry out enough? It's supposed to be 70 and sunny.

It's been years since the last time I did that! Awful job. Careful with the pressure washer, it can cut right into the wood and if not done evenly it will leave a "streaking". Play with it first.

As far as letting it dry, I'd check the label on the stain can and see what they recommend.

it usually takes 2 days to dry. that is how long we wait when we stain a deck. i am in construction.
